At Proteogenixx, we are committed to advancing biotechnology-driven solutions that address some of the most pressing challenges in agriculture and food safety. Our current focus is on aflatoxins—toxic secondary metabolites produced by certain Aspergillus species that pose significant risks to crop productivity, food quality, and human and animal health worldwide.

Operating from the BSC BioNEST Bio-Incubator (BBB) at the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), our research team is developing innovative technologies for early detection, accurate monitoring, and effective mitigation of aflatoxin contamination in food and feed.
